OIWi’s Romancing Savannah Retreat
The group stayed at a historic downtown Savannah house which was very lovely. We had lots of fun getting to know each other in between lots of writing sprints.
The day after our arrival we took a wonderful trolley tour of downtown historic Savannah. It was so much fun! We saw so many beautiful homes and the beautiful squares that dot the historic district.
Unfortunately, my Crohns disease flared up the first night, so I didn’t feel well the first few days in Savannah. Once I got my medicine, I felt much better and was able to enjoy the rest of the retreat.
One of the days, we had an online Zoom workshop presented by Lucinda Race on marketing cozy mysteries. It was very good.
I would highly recommend any of the OIWi members to watch it.
It’s available for any OIWi member to view for only $10…Just email oiwi65@gmail.com to request to be invoiced for it. A link will be sent after the invoice is paid.
If you’re interested in joining an online writing group that’s supportive and lots of fun to be part of, take a look at the OIWi website at oiwi.org.
Membership is only $25 per year and has lots of benefits to it including two free workshops a year.
Be sure to come back for an article on the Romance Slam Jam Convention that I attended in July!
Here are some more photos of beautiful Savannah!
